Bill Repricing - Prepay

The Medical Bill Repricer (MBR

MBR utilizes PPO Networks and Reference Based Pricing to offer members  access to high-quality, affordable healthcare. Depending on their plan,  members can access over 5,500 hospitals, more than 164,000 ancillary  facilities, and over 1.3 million healthcare providers across the United  States, including Puerto Rico.

First

While it's not required, we recommend members call MBR before visiting a  provider. Our team can provide all necessary documents and instructions to ensure a smooth experience.

Second

When seeking medical services, present your MBR card to the provider. If your card indicates PPO, try to utilize an in-network provider, for the largest savings.

Third

Please make a $25 Prepay for primary care office visits and a $50 Prepay for specialist office visits. Afterward, your provider should send all remaining medical bills to MBR for repricing

Fourth

To receive any insured benefits, it's important to complete your insurance claim forms, if necessary. The MBR team can provide assistance with completing these forms.

Fifth

When bills are submitted for repricing, both you and your provider will receive a specific Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from MBR via US Mail.  This document will show your billed amount and any RBP (Reference Based  Pricing) or network discounts.

Lastly

You will eventually receive a final bill from your provider, which should match the amount due (if any) on the EOB that you've already received. As long as all insurance claim forms have been completed, you should also have received all funds due from your insurance company to help supplement any amount due to your medical provider.

While MBR cannot predict or guarantee the outcome of any claim, remember that the MBR team is here to help!

Feel free to call our team for assistance.
